The Bo Rangers midfielder further stated that their aim is to defend their title this season, approaching one match at a time. “We have a good squad and a new coach who will be in charge of us. So, there will be a lot of improvement in the team. We are assuring our fans of the delivering good football in the league”.

Mighty Blackpool FC Mohamed Alie Conteh who was named Man of the Match, apologized to their fans for failing to win the shield. He said they did their best on the pitch to lift the shield, but luck wasn’t on their side.

“I think we were just unlucky in front of goal. We created lots of chances but failed to utilize them. Our finishing was poor, we weren’t patient enough to put the ball at the back of the net so we paid the price for not being attentive”.

“This result should not panic our fans, we will do the needful in our league matches to put smiles on their faces. We are hopeful of having a great season ahead. Our team is well prepared and this time we are ready to fight for the badge till the end”, Conteh stated.
