Midfielder, Ibrahim Sillah bids farewell to German Regionalliga club, BSV Kickers Emden to search for a new club
After his unsuccessful season in the German Regionalliga, midfielder Ibrahim Sillah has left BSV Kickers Emden to pursue his career in a club yet to be identified.
The player announced his departure from the club on Facebook last Wednesday, stating he will forever cherish the memories and bond created while.
“I want to take this moment to say goodbye to BSV kickers Emden. It is with a heavy heart that I leave, but I am thankful for the understanding and arrangement that has been made between the club and me”.
“I will forever cherish the memories we created and the bond we formed. Kickers Emden will always hold a special place in my heart”, the midfielder said.
The 28-year-old midfielder made 18 appearances without scoring any goal or creating much impact in his role in the 2022/23 season and he was starting from the bench in most of the matches.
Thus, the reason he doesn’t have enough game time after he fails to impress manager Stefan Emmerling.
Despite his disappointing experience during his spell with Emden, the surplus-to-requirement midfielder appreciate his time at the club and expressed pleasantries to his teammates, the fans, and the management.
“I want to extend my deepest appreciation to every member of the Club. To the coaching staff, thank you for your guidance, tactical knowledge, and unwavering belief in my abilities”.
“To my fellow players, thank you for the camaraderie, the battles fought side by side, and the memories we shared, and to the management, volunteers, and loyal supporters, thank you for your support through thick and thin and your belief in our journey”.
“Your encouragement and dedication were vital throughout our pursuit of promotion, and for that, I am truly grateful”, Sillah noted.
However, the Sierra Leonean international didn’t disclose his next move.
