Sierra Leone announces squad for Guinea Bissau match

Sierra Leone named squad for Guinea Bissau match

The head coach of the Sierra Leone national team John Keister has named a 23-man squad ahead of the Guinea Bissau match.

Keister’s team will face the Wild Dogs of Bissau in the last match of the African Cup qualifier scheduled for Monday 11th of September, 2023 in Guinea Bissau.

QPR’s right back, Osman Kakay is making a return to the squad after missing out on the previous matches due to injury. Amadu Bakayoko is also among the players that Keister has invited.

Sierra Leone will be playing to honor the fixture as their hope to qualify for the AFCON 2023 was shattered, following their defeat to Nigeria and poor performance in the other matches they played in group A.
