Suffian Kalokoh strike twice to earn Bo Rangers a derby win against Kamboi Eagles

Suffian Kalokoh scored a brace to help Bo Rangers FC secure an inspiring 2-0 win over visitors Kamboi Eagles FC in the South-East derby at the Southern Arena on Saturday evening.

Despite the foggy weather that hampered the flow of the game midway in the first half, the home side restored their pride after the break, returning to the pitch with an electrifying performance that saw Kalokoh net two goals in six minutes to earn all three points and stretches their unbeaten run to thirty-two.

For the fans winning the South-East derby is not only about the results. It goes beyond match-day fantasies as both teams’ shared similar cultural and traditional practices.  And now, it’s about the money spenders and the team with the best players.

“We are proud to have won this match today. We had a tough start in the first half because the weather was bad. When the boys return after the break we saw significant progress in the game. We played more on the attack and that helps us to score the goals”, Musa Kamanda, a fan of Bo Rangers said.

In the meantime, it seems as if the Elephants are working towards finishing the league without any defeat in the 2022/23 season as they increase their unbeaten streak with seventeen wins and ten draws from thirty-two matches played.

Bo Rangers comfortably sits top with 76 points, and with just two matches to play, it’s all glaring that the pride of the South will be wrapping up the season as the invincible.
