Swiss second-tier side Xamax have confirmed that they will part ways with former Leone Stars captain Umaru Bangura at the expiration of his contract this summer
The club made his exit known on social media on Monday
“Management has not extended the contracts of Karim Gazzetta, Yanis Lahiouel and Umaru Bangura. Yannick Marchand and Samuel Kasongo who were on loan will not stay at La Maladière either”.
“For his part, Dylan Tavares has signed up with Sporting Club Bastia”.
The contract of the Leone Stars defender with Neuchâtel Xamax officially comes to an end on June 30, 2022.
The 34-year old is credited with 31 matches in all competitions for Xamax, whom he joined in January 2021.
