The lads from the Lion mountain were more clinical and tactical in the match, playing a high pace attacking football with a compact midfield.

The system set up by Coach Alimu was very productive as the boys scored 6 goals against the Mauritanians who were totally dominated throughout the game.
Bailoh Bah Man of the Match

Osman Mansaray got his first international hat-trick, scoring 3 goals to help his country record a remarkable win against the Mauritanians. Alie Kabia, Bailor Bah and Musa O. Sesay were all on the scoresheet for Sierra Leone.

The outcome of the result sparked serious argument on social media, with some fans citing age cheating. Many believes, the Sierra Leone U15 boys are way above the age limit for the tournament.

According to sources close to the FA, all the boys registered for the competition are within the age bracket.

Striker, Bailor Bah was awarded the Man Of The Match following his brilliant performance.

The lads will face Senegal in their next match on Friday 19, August 2022 at the ATS Stadium in Monrovia, Liberia
