Their seniors, the Female Patriots, are no strangers in that foreign land. From Banjul to Accra and to the sunny ovals of Gaborone, the Ladies Patriots are revered queens across the vast African savanna.

For this showpiece, Sierra Leone has been drawn in Group B along with Uganda, Namibia, and Botswana.

The Ladies, who have been on intensive workouts for over five months, are thrilled to attain glories for motherland, on the one hand; their victory will carry through the cricket circle to inspire their Under-19 men for the Abuja showpiece and the senior men’s side for the Kigali equivalent, on the other hand. All three in preparation for sustained clashes to keep high the banner of motherland.
