Kaikai’s goal moves MK Dons out of relegation zone

Sierra Leone international, Sullay Kaikai scored a vital goal to help MK Dons moved out of the English League One relegation zone with a 1-0 win over Accrington on Saturday.

Conor Grant assisted Kaikai who beats two players down the defensive area and slotted the ball home from a tight angle to score his second goal of the season.

The home side pressed after that with a number of goalmouth scrambles and Leigh heading down into the arms of Cumming.

The visitors continued to force the pace, Paris Maghoma firing straight at Toby Savin and Mohamed Eisa’s effort deflected off-target before the break.

It was MK Don’s second consecutive win in the league and they’ve moved a point above their opponents with 36 points, sitting 20th place on the table.

MK Dons substitute Max Dean could have doubled their advantage with 17 minutes left when he burst through but was denied by Savin’s legs.
