Bo Rangers maintain four-point lead on the table after beating Wilberforce Strikers 2-0

Bo Rangers FC returned to the second round of the Sierra Leone Premier League with a 2-0 away win over Wilberforce Strikers on Saturday at the Parade playing field in central Freetown.

Abu Komeh and Abass Kamara provided a goal each to earn the southern-based club an important win away from home.

While the race for the top spot on the league table hasn’t been much of a pressure for the Elephants, they’ve prioritized a point at each match mentality in the process of defending their title.

The leaders have a four-point lead at the top from eighteen matches played with twelve wins and six draws.

The journey for the title race is getting exciting with second place Mighty Blackpool also recording a win against Kamboi Eagles. The Tis Tas Boys posted a 2-1 victory against the Eagles at the Angola Town field.

Elsewhere in Freetown, FC Johansen hammered Wusum Stars 3-1 at the Trade Centre field. It was a promising result for the Dream Chasers who were inconsistent in the first round of the league.

The victory is a morale booster for Coach Dimitar Pantev and his boys as they focus on building a new identity for FC Johansen.
