It was disappointing, but we will put ourselves together and do our assignment properly before our next fixture”, Luawa FC chairman, Emmanuel Saffa Abdulai.

“Great match and brilliant performance from our players. We came here thinking that it will be an easy win for us, but Luawa FC showed resilient and quality. They were good on the ball and they made it difficult for us to score”.

“We tried so many times to score but they defended well. Thanks to Turay for the late goal. He scored at the right time. His goal was the only difference today and we are lucky to walk away with a vital win and all 3 points”, Samuel Samura.

Meanwhile some fans of Mighty Blackpool turned their frustration on the coaching staff earlier in the match for benching some of the players who they believed could be better starters in the squad, and they have the capabilities to pioneer the team to victory.
